We love this week's Stitch of the Week and it's one knitters of all levels can give a go. The Seed Stitch Zigzag uses the basic knit and purl stitches to create a beautiful design that is great for newbie knitters to expand their skills on and experienced knitters to add an intricate design to their work with simple skills.

Once you've got the hang of the stitch why not give these patterns a go...
Cowls are one of our favourite accessories; not only are they great to pop on when there's a blustery breeze in the air, they are an easy way to bring some detail to a simple outfit. We love the above light knit from King Cole, the zigzag detail creates a dainty design that will take you from summer days to autumnal evenings. When it comes to baby blankets Sirdar is the go to brand, with classic and contemporary designs to choose from you're sure to find the right pattern for your little one. If you're looking for a pattern both you and your mini-me will love, Stylecraft is your go to brand and the below cardigan is no exception.
